Vocational Training
During the year 2015-16, we have been successful to initiate programme "STeP" for youth community with the view of generating employment opportunities by deploying the technical courses. The project was financially supported SMILE FOUNDATION, national level supporting organization. It was envisaged that this programme will help the students to gain basic knowledge and education of communication and computers through theoretical and practical processes which would further help them to ensure employment opportunities. The project objective is to develop fundamental skills in them that will form the stepping stone for their future.
During the reporting year, the total number of enrolled students was 42 out of which 23 girls and 19 boys. As a part programme, specific activities of the project are as follows
Educational Classes

It is planned to conduct educational classes in batches on computer, English language, retail management and personality development. The details of these classes are mentioned below


Batch-1 starts from 9:30AM to 1:30PM, 11 students attend computer class (09:30AM-11:30AM) and 11 students English class (11:30 AM - 01:30 PM) and after two hours rotate the class from Monday to Thursday and the same schedule follows on Friday and Saturday for Retail Management and Personality Development class


Batch-2 Batch-2 starts from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, 10 students attend computer class (01:30 P.M. -03:30 P.M.) and 10 students English class (03:30 P.M. -05:30 P.M.) and after two hours rotate the class from Monday to Thursday and the same schedule follows on Friday and Saturday for Retail Management and Personality Development classes.

Special Initiatives

As a part of special initiatives, we have run night shelters for homeless, supported by Delhi Urban Improvement Shelter, Govt. NCR. The shelter home was running for the period of one and half month (approx.) i.e. from 1st April to 13th May. During this period, 1161 people of different categories like rikshaw puller, daily wage earner and labour working in hotel. The inmates of shelter home was provided the facilities of sleeping like cooler and blanket, water, magazines, light, cooler, water, and toilet facilities. In addition, they have also provided the facilities of tea and snacks as well as magazines. It has been experienced that there were more numbers of inmates during the night in comparison to day time.

Exposure Programme

One day exposure visit to one mall namely V3s mall East Centre in Lakshmi Nagar, East Delhi and Science Centre at Pragati Maidan, Delhi was organized. During the exposure visit, the students were exposed that how the whole transaction of mall is managed and also about technique and POS inside the market. Subsequently the visit to BIG BAZZAR was organized. After a mall visit, the students visited the Science Centre where the knowledge about advancement of technology and difference between old method and new method of communication, was given to them

Employment Engagement Programme

An Employee engagement programme was organized for 32 students. During the same, input session was organized by outsourcing the representative from BIG BAZZAR. During this programme, the students were exposed about profile of BIG BAZZAR by short video clip. Subsequently, interview session was organized and students were asked to share their interview. At the end of programme, the students were clarified their queries.

Job Placement
Talented youth and students require polishing in their skills and need proper career guidance. Else, they end up in choosing a wrong career. We runs various such initiatives to polish skills of youngsters and guide them in choosing career as per their capabilities.Abhiyvakti is eager to train district wise career guidance trainers program. The trainer would disseminate information on educational opportunities and give career guidance and coaching to students along with moral values.
Social Work is a profession and academic discipline that improves the quality of life and well-being of individuals, groups, and communities by direct practice, policy development, organizing communities and outreach, and crisis intervention. Social workers undergo demanding educational requirements. Formal and robust training, and adhere to governmental regulatory requirements and licensing. The purpose of all of this action is to help people and society in general.We provide exposure to peoples to get involved in social activities and help others ,and make others aware of it and to those who are needy.
